ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (TENURE-TRACK) FACULTY POSITION

THE DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY AT LOMA LINDA UNIVERSITY INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR AN ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (TENURE-TRACK) FACULTY POSITION

Qualifications & Responsibilities:  We are interested in recruiting candidates with expertise in statistics/quantitative research methods and are open to any area of research, but are particularly interested in applicants whose research maps well onto existing specialization areas in our department (i.e., Health Psychology and Integrated Care, Child and Adolescent Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology, Clinical Generalist).  The ideal applicant will demonstrate a strong record of statistical training and expertise, including training in advanced statistical topics.  They will also have the capacity to teach both basic and advanced statistics courses at the graduate level, provide statistical consultation to faculty and graduate students, run analyses for manuscripts, and serve as the statistician on grants. 

Though the position is primarily focused on statistical consultation, applicants will also have the opportunity to build their own research program and mentor doctoral students to the extent that their other duties allow.  Though the appointment will be in the Department of Psychology, due to our partnerships across several health specialties on campus, we also offer the opportunity for applicants to develop a multidisciplinary research program.  Therefore, it is also desirable that applicants have the background/training, skills, experiences, and willingness to collaborate as a methods/statistics mentor for faculty and students from other behavioral health backgrounds.   

All applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Psychology.  If the degree is in clinical psychology, it must be from an APA-accredited program (including an APA-accredited internship).  Rank determination and salary are commensurate with faculty policies and the wage scale for faculty within the School of Behavioral Health at Loma Linda University.
