The Counseling Center of Hobart and William Smith Colleges is committed to promoting the well-being of the student body through providing a variety of services including: free and confidential individual and group counseling, walk-in consultations, emergency psychological services, and psycho-educational outreach programming. The Director's responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to, being an active provider in all areas of the Center's clinical and psycho-educational service, providing the Center with administrative direction and oversight, and collaborating with other on- and off-campus departments/agencies to ensure a high level of care for our students. The successful candidate will have demonstrated an ability to focus on both the provision of direct clinical care and an interest in providing significant community outreach to address students' personal and social concerns in hopes of helping them achieve satisfying educational and life experiences.

This is a full-time, 12-month, benefits-eligible position. This position description is not all-inclusive as other tasks or responsibilities may be assigned. Work hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the academic year, with a possible shortened workweek during the scheduled summer hours' time period. This is an in-person position with some flexibility for hybrid work during semester breaks. Salary range: $110,000-120,000

With three graduate programs, students can build on their undergraduate degree with a Master of Arts in Higher Education Leadership, Master of Arts in Teaching, or a Master of Science in Management.
